Why bwired Needed a New Site

As you may have noticed, we have a fresh look on our site.

As a company whose business is about developing websites, we didn’t take our website redesign process lightly. It took a good deal of thought, analysis, and time. Shout out to our team who have spent countless hours making this possible.

More important than the redesign process itself, is why we decided we needed a redesign.


Core dna

If you’re a customer of ours, you’d know that we build exclusively on Core dna. Our founder, Sam Saltis, built Core dna because he was not satisfied with the way things worked with other Content Management Systems (CMS).

There was no simple way to create, manage, and deploy complex websites. With Core dna, we are able to systemise everything. We are able to manage websites more efficiently. We are able to deploy websites faster. Our customers can make changes on their website without needing to go back and forth with us.

Core dna is now on its own journey, and as such, over the last six months or so, it has expanded to overseas markets – more specifically, the US (read more about that here). While we still build websites exclusively on the Core dna Digital Experience Platform (DXP), Core dna is now its own entity.


Our goals have changed

We have been focusing on building and developing websites for 15 years. It’s our bread and butter, or Vegemite and toast, if you like.

But from this, we know that having a website is just the first step. The next step is - what you do with your site.

We have evolved from a ‘build-focused’ company to a ‘Strategy. Build. Optimisation’ company. What it means for you (and our future clients) is that - we not only build beautifully-coded and high performing websites, but also provide our expertise and knowledge on how to better your website in order to reach your business goals.

We’re going to be sharing our knowledge on strategy and optimisation, including digital marketing (content marketing, SEO, paid traffic, social media, etc.), to help you get the best out of your website.

And, our content will be actionable. You will have something to work on after reading the content.
