Are you smarter than a 4 year old on the web

So, are you keeping up with the web or not?

I hear a lot of people talking about Web 2.0 but did you know that my 4 year old nephew Connor is up with Web 3.0. He may not know it but as I watch him on the computer he logs onto the websites he wants, finds Footy Club songs on you tube, sets up favourites, plays games, he even opens Google and asks me to spell what he is looking for so it comes up. However, that still does not actually take the cake.You see I have been watching him do this for some time now. What took me most by surprise was when he took my mobile phone, clicked start and found the internet. Once there he decided to type AFL.com.au and away he went. When I found him and kindly removed my phone from his sticky fingers I saw that the AFL page was already loaded.

So back to my question: Are you smarter than a 4 1/2 year old? Are you ready for what these children are going to be like as internet/mobile phone users? Or in businesses, are we ready? Can your customers buy online, update details or make changes to an account etc ? You can already see ANZ jump onto iPhones, so take some time to think about how all of this is going to effect your business. You may not be in it for long if you don't. Just a thought...
